About

Hey, I’m Abigail Christens, life improver + awesomeness optimizer. I work with super-charged + life-enthused clients, awesomizing lives that align mind, body, and soul. I also co-host The Awesomeness Advantage on YouTube, a weekly fun-fest of inspiration, comedy, and sillyness. I’ve written for Livestrong.com, and MindBodyGreen.

In the past, I’ve had my own practice as a straight-up holistic nutritionist, worked/learned/taught alongside plant-based culinary nutritionist extraordinaire Marni Wasserman, and trained as a certified energy medicine practitioner.

While I valued all of those experiences, I also learned that nit-picking daily menu plans or being tied to a kitchen 24/7 was not where my own passion could be found.

Above all, I want to help my clients feel 100% utterly awesome, all the time.

This goes beyond simply looking at diet, lifestyle, or spiritual practice exclusive of one another. We have to recognize the connections between all aspects of life, and take responsibility to become truly awesomized.

What does it mean to be awesome?

:: It means living with positive, joy-inducing purpose, intention and the knowledge that you can shape your own future.

:: It means being conscious of what you put into your body and how that affects you – food, entertainment, the people your surround yourself with, and your career. You can’t expect to eat junk food, be surrounded by a bunch of Debbie Downers, and come away feeling energized and healthy.

:: It means being pro-active and taking responsibility for what you put out into the world, and what you attract into your life. If I’ve learned anything, it’s that there’s a lesson to be learned in any situation, and from every person in your life.

:: It means being grateful for what you have – the already awesome stuff, and the sticky situations you can find seriously juicy growth in.

:: It means having FUN, laughing, and doing things that light you up like a unicorn-themed neon rainbow dance party. Or, y’know, whatever your thing is.

So, how do you get awesome?

I believe it’s a super sweet-spot combo of living in alignment with your values (we’ll get you totally clear on those, don’t worry!), fueling your body with natural + nutritious plant-based foods, fun physical activity, and a spiritual openness or practice (meditation, yoga, visualization, any shape you want this to take!)

We’ll work together by asking questions, assessing where you’re at and where you wanna be, discover what energizes you and what drags you down – and then we’ll roll it all up in a magical action plan to get you glowing and living your dreams.

I’ve awesomized my own life by following my heart, and moving cross-country totally solo from Toronto to Vancouver.

If you asked me two years ago if I could imagine myself living in Vancouver, rocking out a supercharged plant-based diet, creating inspirational comedy magic on my own YouTube channel, and helping clients optimize their lives…it would have been a resounding what are you even talking about?!

And yet, here I am. I couldn’t imagine it any other way now. I found an amazing family of fun-loving, Abby-loving, exciting friends and roommates here, and I couldn’t be more grateful for how things have come together.

I have utterly awesomized my life, and can’t wait to help you do the same! If you think we’d be a good fit, check out my offerings.

  1. Hey Abigail:

I am a pesca-vegetarian and I’m really fascinated by the ingredients and supplements you feature on your website.

I’ve decided to revolutionize my eating habits by incorporating “raw diet” and vegan items; however, I don’t even know what to get, what’s important and where to even start. I’ve seen stuff such as bee pollen, hemp seeds, etc…. can you write a piece on “staple” items you keep in your kitchen?

    I’d really appreciate it.
